Dear 2nd graders,
How cool is this?! I am so excited that we can have a classroom blog! People use blogs to share about what’s going on. Now we can talk more about the things we are learning at school and cool things we find out at home.
I am going to post links to cool websites like this one, neat videos, and pictures of your awesome work. You can talk about your work and tell us about things you see at home. Your families can also post compliments about your hard work!
So, let’s start out by talking about clouds! Post and let us know if you see any cool clouds!
Here is a picture from my road trip this summer. Do you know where this is? What kind of clouds do you see?
Can anyone tell me what happens if there is a nimbus cloud? What do cumulus clouds look like? Have you seen any cool shapes in the sky?

Hi Mrs. McRainey. When I went up stairs, I looked out my bed room window and saw lots of cumulus, cirrus and stratus clouds. My mom wanted to let you know that I have no homework. She wants to have homework for me. Today I played some games on your website. I also liked your blog. See you on Monday.

Hi Maddison! Thanks for doing some cloud watching. I’m so excited that you saw all 3 main types of clouds! I wonder if we dropped your bag of math games on the way to the bus Monday. Hi Ms. McRainey! I went outside this morning and I didn’t see any clouds but I found out it is cold! By the way, I know what kind of clouds you have in your picture- cumulus! The blog is really cool, too!

Dear Ms. McRainey,
When my brother was swimming in the pool the other night, I saw the water evaporate. When my friend Katerina was at my house, we looked at the clouds. I saw culumus stratus clouds with her. I think the blog is really cool. I have fun playing on the math games.
